双子の片割れが悪事を働く物語なので、男の顏のアップを描き、 半分を悪人風にしてしまう様な単刀直入なアイデアでもかまわ ないかも知れません。 でも、そんな説明的なカバーを付けては興ざめだろう思い、こ こでは大量の鳥が襲来するヒッチコック風の場面を絵にしまし た。まだフォトショップなどという便利なテクノロジーが普及 する以前の絵で、一匹づつ全て手描きです。 おまけに翻訳家の方がスパロウ（雀）をスワロウ（燕）と勘違 いして訳されていて、締め切りを目前にそれが発覚し、全ての 燕を慌てて雀に描き変えた、という二重の悪夢を私にもたらし た忘れられない小説でもあります。

Story is one of the twins do evil. You can draw close up of man's face and make one-half look like villain. Such direct idea could be used.
However, I thought it might be too explanatory. So, I drew many birds attacking such as Hitchcock style. There weren't useable tools like Photo Shop those days. Birds were drawn one by one by hand.
What's more, translator misunderstood “sparrow” and “swallow”, which was found out just before the dead line, I changed all the birds from swallow to sparrow. I can't forget this book because of these two nightmares.
