ミザリー
大雪の山中で事故の遭い、ある女に助けられた主人公の小説家 ポール・シャルダン。 しかし、その女はポールを監禁し、私だけの為に小説を書けと 強制する。カバーの下にはその女の為に書いた「ミザリーの復 活」なる本の装画が隠れているというおまけ付きです。 当時まだ「オタク」と言う言葉は流行していませんでしたが、 今見るとまさに、引きこもり系オタク向けの本造りです。 画面の左すみのドアの外は海ですが、事故に遭った足の痛みを 和らげる睡眠薬が切れて痛みがぶり返すと、潮が引いて杭が顏 を出し始めるのです。つまり床から外につながる海が眠り（夢） の世界で、右の窓の外の雪景色が現実のポールが置かれている 状況です。

Misery
Novelist Paul Chardon had met with an accident in the heavy snowed mountain.He was rescued by a woman. However, she confined him and forced to write a novel for her.
In the front cover, as a bonus, you can find a book named "Revival ofmiserly"which Paul had wrote for her. At that time, word "Otaku"(nerd in Japanese) was not so popular. But as I see now, this is exactly for indoor "Otaku". In the left corner, you see ocean. In order to ease the pain in his feet, he was taking sleeping pill. When the pill runs out, tide goes out and stake comes out. This means that the ocean which connects the floor to outside
expresses thedream world. Snow scene outside the window on the right is the reality.
