ラストは闇の帝王ランドルフラッグの登場です。この小 説はキングがトールキンの指輪物語からインスパイアー されて書いたという話はご存知かもしれませんが、映画 ロード・オブ・ザ・リングにも黒いフードをまとった闇 の男が登場します。ブランコに乗った老女マザー・アバ ゲイルが光（善）の象徴なのに対して、こちらは闇（悪）の 象徴です。

In the last story, Randroflag who is the king of darkness appears. Some of you know that King was inspired from Tolkien's “The Tale of The Ring".In the movie “Road of the Ring”, a man of darkness with black hood also appears. Mother Abergale, elderly woman riding on a swing isthe symbol of the light (good), this cover is the symbol of the darkness (evil).
