恐怖の下水道をくぐり抜けた子供達が、河の真ん中で手を繋ぎ 何かを誓い合っています。夕暮れの空に大きな給水塔が聳え、 夏休みが終わろうとしています。 この子供達は２８年後、再びこの故郷の街に舞い戻り、「あれ」 と対決する事になります。 僕はこの物語のラストで、大人になった主人公の小説家が、眠り から醒め、夢に出て来た子供の頃の友達の事を思い出し、「いつ かこれを小説に書こう」と、明け方の静寂の中で物思いにふける シーンがとても好きです。

IT (volume 2)
Children past through the scary sewer are in the middle of the river. They are swearing something by holding hands. In the evening sky, huge water tower is rising. Summer vacation is about to end.
28 years later, these children return to their hometown and will confront with “IT”.
I quite like the last scene of the story. Main character becomes novelist. When he wakes up and remembers his friends in his childhood in the dream, he thinks in quiet dawn, to write about this sometime in the future.
